Still confused about mixing different types of armor. Example, I want my W/N to have Platemail gloves, Glads leggings, chest, and helmet, with Knight's boots. If I have one piece of plate armor is my base armor 90? or does it really matter that much?

Each time an attack is used against you, it hits a certain spot on the body. The different spots on the body also have a different chance of getting hit.

Head - 1/8 chance
Chest - 3/8 chance
Gloves - 1/8 chance
Leggings - 2/8 chance
Feet - 1/8 chance

So in your example, on 1/8 of the attacks you would have 90 base AL. On 6/8 of the attacks (chest, leggins, helm) you would have 80 base AL with 100 AL versus physical. And on the remaining 1/8 of attacks would hit your knights boots.

There's no reason to have Knight's boots as the effect is no longer global. The sticky for that is outdated.
